with DDE 9, when you create a stylesheet in Designer, then look at the properties of the css file, tab "Security", you have to manually "make it available to public users". If you don't, you will be baffled by your stylesheet not coming through to your browser.
Countless trillions of lines LotusScript-based business logic will remain on lifesupport way into the next millenium unless there is a realistic migration path that will encourage the adoption of Java-based platforms as we drag ourselves away from Lotus Domino via XPages.
I don't think that technically this would be ...
I like the new slide-in "New Mail" notification which shows you the subject and sender of new mail messages (See File - Preferences - Mail - Sending & Receiving - Alerts section).
What would be GREAT is a few actions (eg right-click) which can be performed directly from that alert ...
If a question has a response, the original author should not be permitted to go and edit the question/move the goal posts. If editing the answer was allowed, then the same rule should apply if the answer has votes against it.
Connect user profile in IdeaJam to the Notes address book (names.nsf) and implement more fields (contact information).
The implementation of a responsive frontend framework (e.g. Bootstrap) would be a great enhancement to the UI and makes IdeaJam more accessible for mobile devices.
When a resource is created with the option "Limit advance reservation" set, the owner is handled as a regular user and is not allowed to book the resource past the limit.
He should be allowed to bypass the restriction because he is the owner.
Add "Accepted" as additional value to implementation plans for ideas which will generally be accepted but are in an unplanned status.
Within the advanced search it would be great to have the possibility to export also to Open Document Formats.
Presently if you want to edit a XPage property with a computed value, you have to click the diamond icon and select between static and computed value. It would save a mouse-move and click if a single click of the diamond pops out the script editor. A "static value" option ...

The Field class in LotusScript only contains events. It would be great if it contained properties like Value (read/write) to make it easier to manipulate in the events. For example, if I want to handle the OnChange event in the client, I can use LotusScript but I have to write a ...
The Document/NotesDocument classes currently allow read access to things like creation date, last modified, etc.
However, there are a lot more properties to documents than that (when created in the current file to name one).
These should be made available as properties like the others.
I'd like to have a drop down list which enables me to choose the signature I want added to the email. (or blog/forum post) Today I get around this by using my Paste Information
application, but I'd rather have this integrated.
Very often I have the need to import a graphics into a Domino rich text field. Example JPG or GIF file. Currently there are no backend classes to do this. There should be a simple Lotusscript function to enable this, and allow for options like resize and rotate on import.
We already have GetFormattedText and GetUnformattedText, but what would really be helpful is to have a method that spits out the contents of a Rich Text field as HTML. It should be no more and no less than what happens when you send an email to an outside user. That's ...
Please fix the NSF database
and by 'Fix' i mean:
1) Remove the obvious size limitations such as 32k view lookups, maximum field numbers and plain text field limits
2) Provide a good JDBC and .Net Drivers that enables access to the database from remote locations
