I believe these idea is great : http://goo.gl/qRbkAI
Having an XWork Server CE will make more young people to enter the Domino / Notes / XWork world.
A pretty basic premise really. An "idea' that IBM should actually implement some of these "ideas".
Probably the most-copied text I need in Notes, cant be copied. Its the database file path.
I Would like to copy it instead of fatfingering it in. I would like to get it copied right off the desktop without even opening the database.
When an agent is using ODBC, writing to a network drive, executing a Web service is always taking a risk of hanging/freezing. That risk extends to the entire server when the agent runs there.
Itd be great if Domino Administrator could actually halt tasks. I know "tell quit" will ...
when using column values as separate entries I'm finding it much more useful to start with the same calculations in multiple columns. Itd be great if the designer didnt have to rewrite the exact same code four or five times in each column, just to keep the list values in ...
Since the popularization of the internet, the email experience has always been the same. There has never been a great innovation in over 30 years. The capacity grew, contacts were integrated, groups were created ...
When you click on the flag icon (aka follow-up) it sets a default flag. Clicking a second time should IMHO remove it. Currently it asks if you want to update it. Removing would work much faster in handling the flags.
I'd like to have doclevel supprt for ACL much as provided for the database ACL.
1- Effective access to a document, much like the ACL dialog calculates for a database.
2- Readers listed on the document
3- Authors listed on the document
It happens too often. I come upon a server that the customer has called in as being unstable while running the Web server. I come in, and
the domlog is huge. I mean lots of gigabytes of data.
The domlog is unused
. That's mostly because it can't be opened, so much data's ...
when I append @Newline in @Failure text it only shows as blank space.
I'd like to use @Newline much as I do in @Prompt.
Profile documents are *almost* a great way to cache information in web applications. A profile document, once accessed by the web server persists in memory making access lightning quick.
Unfortunately they do not seem to expire and can chew up memory requiring a web server restart.
Ability to add Worklight into Designer as an external tool.
In the last time many developers had adopted Linux and MAC OS as their natural operating system to create programs.
Domino Designer is developed using Eclipse Platform, and as anyone knows Eclipse works in any operating system, Why doesn't Domino Designer work in the same way?
This is NOT a request for IdeaJam to try to track SPRs
I'd like the community to pick an SPR, describe the situation they think they're having which is related to it, and to vote on how much of an impact it's having on them.
For instance, probably my ...
I often create tables and enter numbers in 1st column. Normally I mark the complete column, align the content centered, give it a dedicated color or make it bold.
When inserting a new column I'd like to get these format values in the new row.
Im not sure where an @formula error goes now, but it doesnt seem to show up throwing an error. It seems to return some kind of "almost an overflow" return value when I run "@error" now.
I wish itd throw an error, or return something that can be understood ...
ACL entries often need multiple changes, andsome ACLs are long. Itd be great to be able to modify more than one at a time, as well as getting the selections perfectly right every time.
I'd like to copy & paste entries, & modify multiple entries at once.
When I stuck @Eval in a translation formula, it seemed like it'd work great. But its error handling seems off.
When I set an @Eval result to a variable, as in
Tmp := @Eval("@Error");
I would like the error returned into the tmp variable. Right now it ...
Even with Xpages profiles are still used and useful for timely development.
1- View profile listings in Admin and Designer.
2- Open, edit profiles from Web.
3- Open profiles is a separate window in Notes client.
4- Deal with the continuing issue of cached profiles, which dont show updates ...
