New in Release 8.5.3 is the ability to enable a "Mail Slider" new mail notification. As mail comes into your Inbox, when enabled a small window in lower right corner of Notes Client slides out, displays how many new mails have come in and there Subjects that after a few seconds slides away and disappears. Unfortunately all mail that comes into the Inbox displays... Would be Great if in Mail rules definitions, where you may automatically file something into a different folder, it gives you the option on whether or not to display the slider when enabled.. This will allow end user to greatly reduce slider notifications of mail they really don't deem important enough to be notified by a slider...

Yes, for the same reason users become irked when the new mail indicator alerts them to a message that gets auto sorted to a folder, rather than the Inbox, the slider should behave in the same way and only display for messages that appear inside the Inbox, after mail rules are processed.
