Today we added a new page to the Elguji site which covers our iOS native app development offering. It also features three apps that we built which are available in the iTunes App Store. We also want to emphasize that we specialize in integrating IBM Notes and Domino data sources including extensive knowledge of XPages. Not using Notes and Domino - not to worry. Integrating your iOS app with other vendors technolgies is not a problem.

MyMusicRx now available in the App Store

We just completed our second iPhone app that uses IBM XPages to serve up and store content for an iOS app. The first app was TSAzr which was released in January 2011 and our new app is called "MyMusicRx".The MyMusicRx app complements the Children's Cancer Associations MyMusicRx website. MyMusicRx is our fourth app in the App Store.

The app allows you to search and purchase music from iTunes. Up to 5% of each purchase will be donated to the Children's Cancer Association. The app also displays "Music Prescriptions" and "Recommended Playlists" where you can purchase the songs that people subscribed and songs from the recommended playlists. The MyMusicRx prescriptions are pulled from the MyMusicRx Facebook app. IBM XPages stores and manages all of the playlist data. It also uses some nifty SSJS and Java to get song data from iTunes using the iTunes Search API. Appcelerator was used to develop this iOS app.

The app was developed with the help of Ben Poole (Java and SSJS), Matt White (XPages), Gayle Elgort (UI and Testing), the Children's Cancer Association and Bruce Elgort (UI, XPages, Appcelerator). All of the development effort was donated.

Here are some screenshots of the app:

V1.1 is currently being developed which will allow songs to be "prescribed" and shared on Facebook. Some other cool features are also being considered.

New iPhone and Android apps for IQJam to be demoed at Lotusphere 2010

Category iqjam iphone android ls10
As you may have seen from our indiscreet Twittering over the last few days, along with demonstrating IdeaJam and IQJam at Lotusphere next week, we're going to have some examples of native iPhone and Android IQJam interface applications which make use of our JSON and Web Services API's to display data.

So here are some example screen shots, first from the iPhone (coming to the Apple iTunes App Store in February) :

And second from Android (available late January):

The esteemed Jeff Gilfelt (also known as @readystate on Twitter) has been kind enough to help us out with the development. The apps are very cool, but the point of them really is to show the sorts of things that you can do with the API either using the public IQJam site or with your own copy of IQJam in your organisation. Examples of what customers are already doing include MS Office integration and web services integration into their help desk systems.

If you'd like to see more examples of how IQJam can be made easy to access for your company or community then come visit us on stand #622 at Lotusphere.

IdeaJam on an iPhone

Category iPhone
We've had several requests from customers for an iPhone interface onto IdeaJam. Well with the help of Jeff Gilfelt we have just managed to get it included into the 1.3 release which is due out on October 1st. We have put out latest test build out onto the public IdeaJam site so if you want to get a sneak peak of what you'll be getting (if you're an existing customer) or what you could be getting if you buy IdeaJam then go to i.ideajam.net.
