Idea:

please add an option/dialog to include or exclude the names in a mail document when you create a new calendar entry from it via the 'copy into new' function.

this has been embarrassing for multiple times for users.

the current option is good and and a time saver but users are unaware that all names in the mail will be included in the meeting document

This is only a problem if they select Meeting. And in that case, having the recipients can be very useful.

I see this as a training issue. There's no need to complicate this feature just because some users don't know the difference between a Meeting and an Appointment.

Comment: I agree with Patrick. It would be nice to have an extra dialog box asking if you want to include all recipients or not. For both copy into calendar entry or to dos.

If Lotus developers can add or populate the names in this instance, I don't know why they can't when you try to create a meeting when you're in a group calendar. There you have to re-add all of the names from your group calendar. This is where it should work. And for some crazy reason, it does work when you use Notes Web Group calendar.
