Idea:

Allow Foundations activation by telephone or by email. A SMB owner might have internet/email access from their home computer but not from their office computer

Comment: If that is the case, they can always work through their business partner to get the activation completed on their server. That's what the local BP relationship is there for.

Comment: Activation requires internet access, but then the internet access also delivers VERY USEFUL updates and patches.

Since Foundations can act as a (very good) firewall too, there should be very little resistance to an SMB putting the Foundations box on the internet.

Worst case, their integration business partner could plug the box in at their office and activate it (AS A FREE SERVICE TO THEIR CUSTOMER)

Comment: I agree with Sean and Lawrence. Every Foundations install with which I am familiar had internet access and I see no reason that will not be the case in the future.
