Lotus Traveler can handle pictures if you have a picture of a person in you local NAB/$Contacts. And Domino server can have pictures of persons embedded in global Names.nsf for use in Sametime (or other application).
How about syncing these two on the server?
1) On domino server I can initiate a process syncContacts. And there is a document in Configuration document defining which groups/users this should be active on.
2) The process will take the embedded jpegBinary pictures in person document and sync the whole contant into selected users $Contacts
3) The users will now have all phone numbers WITH pictures to all users in the directory on their Android/iPhone etc
Now everybody is happy about choosing IBM and Lotus Traveler, right?
