Many terms like Lotusphere, Javascript, Websphere, VMWare, SQL, and a myriad of others are used everyday by technical people. Having a separate dictionary for these special term would allow those that care about them to have auto-matic spelling checking in any applicaiton, all while not imposing anything on those who do not wish for such terms to be added.

There could be issues with including trademarked terms. Would you have to include the ® and ™ symbols?

Yes, after following some sessions at Lotusphere I completely lost track of the relations between many (new) terms. I miss a general overview. This idea may help
