Provide a method of separating the mail and calendar delegation to allow addition of users with raised privileges in the calendar but to have read or no access to mail items. At present if you give someone access to mail they get the same level of access as they do in your calendar. Having this separated would allow you to delegate access to your calendar to allow members of your team to manage your calendar without giving them access to send mail on your behalf, etc.

You totally can delegate calendar access "without giving them access to send mail on your behalf". But not the other way, delegate mail access without calendar access.

In fact, there should indeed be separate options for calendar, mail, tasks and contacts.

I agree. But more so, contacts need to have a separate delegate area.
