Today, if someone sends me an email (or posts a document in a database) that contains an image (not an attachment) I can not save that image to my computer.
I do agree that being able to rightclick an embedded image would be great.
There is one workaround however, in your preferences you can set the notes client to display inline images as attachments, then when you open the email you will see an attachment that you can save instead of seeing the actual image.
This workaround does mess up html emails that have embedded images.
Another variation on this is that if I open an HTML email that has a link and is covered by an image, I cannot right click and save the link to be pasted somewhere else.
I have to click on the image, which opens the Notes Browser, then select the link from the browser bar.
Yes, this should be added immediately. I actually came to the ideajam site today to add this idea and found it was already here. The ability to right-click an embeded image and choose "save as" is a must. Going to the web has been the work around, however NOT a solution.
