Show links to archives when viewing a delegated mail file
Use this IdeaSpace to post ideas about the Notes Client.
When accessing another mailbox through access and delegation, make the link show under the archive folder to be able to access the archive of that delegated mail file for server based archives.
(16 Jul 2010)
Hm, isn't this already working (at least as of 8.5.1)? There might be a delay because delegated ACL will be copied to the archive ACL at time of next archivation, not immediately at time of mail file delegation.
(16 Jul 2010)
IBM support states that they currently do not offer this functionality.
(19 Jul 2010)
And the extra step of opening the target recipient's mail file then clicking on the archive is unacceptable. Is the point to avoid the extra click or is there something else here?
(29 Jul 2010)
This is where it is confusing. That link didn't exist under archive when expanded. IBM Support told me that it wasn't possible at this time. Was I given bad information?
(27 Sep 2010)
This does indeed already work. Previously, it required rights above Editor, which you could not get via delegation.
