I would like to see as the simply function for a column the date a document was added to a folder.
I would like to sort documents based upon this date.

An interesting idea, but it feels like it should be done in the applications' workflow anyway.
This would be a pretty major change to foldering, too, because it has to be stored in the folder structure itself. My understanding is that the folder is basically a list of UNIDs, but this would require it to be a list of UNIDs and a matching list of date/time values.
(It has to be stored in the folder because if you store it in the document itself it may get confused when a document is put in multiple folders.)
Still, it might be nice to have in the mail template if nothing else, so I'll promote the idea...

View can not display the data not contained in the document, ie, by placing the document in a folder, this option should be to record the date in the document. For other databases, an additional source of conflicts, so I vote against it.

Established baskets used in primitive applications, where no means a multi-user work. In normal applications use a basket of its own design. It is well known.
In principle, this option is possible, but that it can be off and it was turned off by default.
